I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
