Patrick Bamford Joins the Blades Despite Leading Derogatory Songs Targeting Coach Chris Wilder

Patrick Bamford is now a member of the Championship side just seven months following leading disrespectful songs directed at the team's coach, Wilder.

This experienced forward, without a club after departing from Leeds, has put pen to paper on a deal joining the Championship club in difficulty until January. His seven-year career with Leeds finished by mutual consent in August.

Among the player's last memorable actions while at Leeds included starting abusive chants regarding Wilder during the club’s promotion party this spring. Past Conflict Between the Striker & the Manager

Reconciliation & Looking Ahead

All appears to have been put behind them with Sheffield United, the league's lowest scorers, urgently requiring of a boost in attack and Bamford aiming to revive his career.

“We spent a short while and the same again I talked with Daniel as well and we had a longer discussion together and he is a super guy, a class act. When I was playing we would give it and accept it and that is part and parcel of football across all levels, even on Sunday league. I've got absolutely no issue. I am cool with it and I said that to Pat.”
